2019, Bradley Walters became the first young player supported by NHC, who managed to enter the South West Academy.

After winning the Cornwall School Games 2018 with Pool Academy, Bradley participated in Junior training provided by NHC. In tough trials at Wellington School his performance was recognised as outstanding and he was offered a place at the South West Academy, where he is training in addition to the weekly training in Newquay.

There will be a chance to follow Bradleys footsteps in 2020. Training in Newquay will be offered from January, if there is enough interest and commitment.
