Newquay Handball Club are due to face Plymouth Uni on the 25th May in Plymouth. The highly anticipated encounter will be the first full 60minute game the team have experienced, excitement and expectation in the camp is high.
Hopes are that Newquay will build on their successful display in the four-way tournament in March of this year, in which they finished an admirable 2nd to a strong Plymouth Uni team.
Rumours are that Plymouth are to field a team mixed with talent and experience after drafting in some Marjon stars to boost their already impressive outfit.
Unfazed and with some new faces and more time under the expert coaching guidance of Jürgen Koenen, Newquay are ready for the challenge. It’s set up to be an epic encounter, and hopefully the beginning of a healthy rivalry between the sides.
